Perfect for family fun!
We had a fab time! The place is super family-friendly with an awesome playground for the kiddos. The food was delish – Dan and his crew really took care of us. Loved the cozy bar lounge area too, perfect for unwinding. Just wish there were more veggie options on the menu.

The rustic decor adds charm, really capturing a cozy pub vibe. The location immerses you in beautiful countryside. it feels tranquil, almost like a getaway.
Noise from the bar area can disturb nights, especially if you're in a ground floor room. I found the food inconsistent—some meals were decent but my steak was tough and the portion for fish and chips was on the small side. Breakfast wasn't much better. everything felt inferior, with cold beans and questionable sausages that left me wanting. A few spots around the hotel felt just plain neglected, requiring some upkeep for a better stay.

We had a lovely stay at this charming old inn with plenty of character. The food was excellent, and the staff, especially Natalie, made us feel right at home. We enjoyed visiting the nearby Cattle Country Adventure Park with the kids and had a blast!
In my wife’s opinion, a more accessible entrance for families would be great.

I stayed in a double room, and it was a good size with a comfy bed, which helped for a solid night’s sleep. The bathroom was clean and stocked with essentials. There was a bit of a bleach smell at first, but it faded quickly. The decor felt a bit dated, and the room could use some updates, but that didn’t take away from my stay too much.
